This one isn’t anything fancy, or even professional because it was a quick snap! But these two are my son and my best friends daugher. These two have been friends since before they were born. We got to experience our pregnancies together, and ended up having them 23 hours apart.
NYS has finally recieved some snow… and the cold weather to go with it. My baby girl braved the cold to get these couple shots though!!

My daughter has become obsessed with Candyland since she started playing it at her aunt’s house. Santa got her her own copy for Christmas and now must play it everyday!

I was busy taking pics of my daughter and figured I would shoot a pic for this theme… The mirror was my grandmother’s mirror that I got when she passed away in 1998. Maybe it will get passed to my daughter someday…
I didn’t grab too many silly faces on the holidays, but I did grab one while we were out trying to get a nice Christmas portrait of my four children. Needless to say, the session didn’t last too long, but I did get one really nice one and one really nice silly one! This was caused because I kept trying to yell at the one for making goofy faces, but laughing instead and sending my other three into giggles. Maybe next year I will just stick with trying for a goofy picture to send out?

My Teddy Bear

He doesn’t get mad or yell
Or ever put me down,
He never gets jealous or envious
And never has a frown.
When I need a hug he’s there
Waiting with open paws,
His eye is broken, his arm is ripped
But I don’t mind his flaws.
I love my little teddy bear
With his cute little face,
And if we were more like
Teddy bears the world
Would be a better place.
This session took place in one of my favorite towns, Spencerport NY. I grew up there, went to school there, and have so many memories there, including having my own wedding photos taken at this spot. I loved working with this family! And with this session taking place in Spencerport, it was the icing on the cake!! We had a great time, and got some many different shots and groupings! Here is just a small sample of my favorites!

Oh, this was such a cute session! I’ve done pictures for this family before, but of only their daughter, so when they found out they were expecting baby #2, they asked if I could do some family/maternity pics for them. Can you just feel that love between them??

This adorable family I photographed up at Durand Eastman, one of my favorite areas to use! They were so much fun to photograph and the kids were just little gems! They posed, then they played awhile in the sand, digging holes until they hit water on the beach! It was a lot of fun!
